Our restaurant is run in a modern way and we try to respect the needs both of our domestic clientele, as well as those of visitors to Plzeň – from this country and abroad. We offer traditional Bohemian cuisine with an emphasis on regional specialties.

One advantage is the restaurant’s location in the historical heart of the city, just a few steps from the square with the St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral. From where we are it is possible to reach virtually all the tourist and historical places of interest in the city on foot (the brewery, the St. Bartholomew’s Cathedral with its tower that is open to the public, the town hall, the Brewery Museum, the Museum of Western Bohemia, the Great Synagogue – the third largest in the world, amongst others).

As we have the corresponding standard of kitchen and restaurant facilities and plenty of staff we are able to organise group tourist outings – we are much sought after by travel agencies not only for the quality of our home cuisine and the reasonable prices of the services we provide, but guests also appreciate our pleasant, stylish surroundings and the image of the oldest pub in the city – something that particularly delights our foreign clientele. The quality of our services has been praised by a number of famous figures, such as the American ambassadors J. Stapleton and W. Cabbanis, the Austrian ambassador, the Dutch ambassador, and a host of actors and singers, such as the members of the group Slade, who regularly came for lunch while they were visiting Plzeň.
